Position Overview

Primary Job Functions

  • Review and hold credit requests exceeding $10,000 while assisting Collections staff with credit override issues.
  • Continuously monitor customers approaching their credit limits and take necessary actions.
  • Evaluate and authorize credit applications.
  • Analyze accounts with credit balances and take appropriate measures.
  • Conduct tax and resale verifications.
  • Post, investigate, and resolve credit card chargebacks.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database, collaborating with clients to establish parent/child accounts and eliminate duplicate or redundant entries.
  • Support with Pinnacle disputes.
  • Assess and analyze the credit history of current and prospective clients.
  • Make informed decisions based on thorough assessments.
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure timely submission of applications.
  • Understand business, economic, and industry risks.
  • Keep detailed records of all customer applications.
  • Assist collectors in reconciling payment discrepancies.
  • Provide support for problem accounts.
  • Contribute to audit processes.
  • Assist with demand letters.
  • Help create and update relevant process documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dealership environment.
  • Must possess a CCP designation.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity as a Credit Analyst.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective negotiation skills.
  • Capable of communicating effectively with customers and all organizational levels.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented setting.
  • Proficient in multitasking and following through on tasks.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong overall keyboarding and internet application skills.
