Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at 2793588 Ontario Inc. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to our office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
    • Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
    • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Record Management
    • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train staff members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
    • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all office procedures and protocols are followed to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
    • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Security Clearance
    • Criminal record check required.
Working Conditions
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Work 35 hours per week.
