Job Title: Community Services Coordinator

Join the Canadian Red Cross team as a Community Services Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in delivering transportation and meals on wheels services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining service procedures, assessing client eligibility, and coordinating requests for transportation and meals on wheels programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain transportation and meals on wheels service procedures and standards
  • Assess client eligibility and maintain confidential client files
  • Coordinate requests for transportation and meals on wheels programs
  • Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Inspect RC vehicles and oversee fleet maintenance/repairs
  • Ensure clients are billed correctly and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Produce statistical reports and correspondence as required
Requirements:
  • Completion of a college diploma
  • One to three years' job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledgeable/experienced in client and vehicle database management and basic budgeting/financial management
  • Strong customer service, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
  • The work will mostly be performed in the Red Cross office in Sarnia, ON
  • This position requires a clear 3-year Driver's Abstract
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
