About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Manager to join our team at the Institute of IT Training Inc. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily operations, and planning and controlling budget and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze and assess the performance of the IT department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that all expenditures are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT department.
  • Recruit Staff: Participate in the recruitment and selection process for IT staff, ensuring that the best candidates are hired for the role.
  • Authorize the Development of Specifications for Products or Services: Work with the development team to create specifications for new products or services.
  • Meet with Clients to Discuss System Requirements, Specifications, Costs and Timelines: Meet with clients to discuss their system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
  • Manage Incidents: Identify and resolve IT incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Consult with Clients after Sale to Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in IT operations, preferably in a consulting firm.
  • Work Setting: Information technology (IT) consulting firm.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be flexible, have initiative, and be organized.
