Job Title: Digital Sales Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Sales Lead to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for driving business performance through analytics-based strategy recommendations and key strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial, sales, business intelligence, and digital teams to drive business performance through analytics-based strategy recommendations.
  • Develop and implement multichannel customer engagement planning activities to maximize field effectiveness.
  • Responsible for customer segmentation & targeting projects for priority brands, aligned to each brand's business plan.
  • Accountable for integration of strategic metrics into key sales platforms (Veeva, PowerBI).
  • Manage BAaaS (Business Analytics as a Service) resources who support Territory Alignment and Engagement Planning.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to synthesize business questions and deliver solutions to drive improvement in performance.
  • Excellent influencing and engagement skills, with strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales force effectiveness tools and experience working in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel is strongly preferred, and familiarity with PowerBI and Veeva is an asset.
