About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer - Landscape Construction to join our team at Northern Beaver Post. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks, including construction, gardening, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including excavation, grading, and planting.
  • Perform gardening tasks, such as weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Operate equipment, such as chain saws and weed trimmers, to maintain our grounds.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Flexibility to work a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Knowledge of gardening and landscaping principles.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as chain saws and weed trimmers.
