Job Title: Mandarin Arts Educator

Job Summary:
HongDe Elementary School is a BC Ministry of Education registered Not-For-Profit Independent School, offering a Mandarin / English bilingual program. As a Mandarin Arts Educator, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive arts education program that integrates music, dance, and drama into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver a Mandarin / English bilingual program that meets the needs of our students.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in Mandarin language arts, music, dance, and drama.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in arts education and bilingual program design.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Arts Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification in Mandarin language arts and/or arts education.
  • Experience working with students in a bilingual program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
