About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet House Attendant to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. As a key member of our Banquet team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar/meeting area.
  • Set-up and clear china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions.
  • Stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service, ensuring that they are in good condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function spaces according to maintenance programs and plans.
  • Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel's receiving area and store them safely and securely.
  • Execute the set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in the same role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment.
  • The ability to carry up to 30lbs (13kg).
  • An affinity for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
  • A flexible, on-call schedule with the ability to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
