About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2849580 Ontario Inc O/A Petro Canada. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and perform audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and benefits for employees, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and prepare reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
