Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading healthcare institution and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in emergency medicine
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
