Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer tests and assessments to patients, under the guidance of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Monitor and record patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Support Services
    • Provide administrative support to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
    • Assist with patient education and counseling, promoting healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, healthcare administration).
    • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy department.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
