Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment
- Administer tests and assessments to patients, under the guidance of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor and record patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Support Services
- Provide administrative support to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with patient education and counseling, promoting healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
- Education and Experience
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, healthcare administration).
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy department.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
