Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The working hours are 40 hours per week.
