Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in managing the department to ensure superior guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with scheduling staff and maintaining a well-organized work environment.
  • Contribute to inventory and cost control, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Assist with basic restaurant operations, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to motivate staff and promote a positive work culture.
  • Ensure policies and standards are adhered to, maintaining a high level of quality and service.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance.
  • Prepare payroll and assist with employee performance reviews, evaluations, and discipline when necessary.

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in food and beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and guests.
  • Computer knowledge, including point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
  • Pro-serve certification is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Pleasant, outgoing, and energetic individuals who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional guest service.
  • Team players with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Must be available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
