- Assist clients in exploring and engaging in activities that align with their interests.
- Support the enhancement of life skills while identifying potential volunteer and employment pathways.
- Provide transportation and companionship for clients during appointments and community activities.
- Promote community participation through various educational and recreational initiatives.
- Connect clients with necessary support services and employment resources.
- A high school diploma or equivalent in Disability Studies, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- A valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- First Aid/CPR certification, Non-Violent Crisis Prevention training, and other relevant certifications.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to interpret nonverbal communication.
- Proficiency in various computer applications.
- A commitment to the principles of community-based living.
