Occupational Therapist

Tideview Terrace, an Eden Alternative Registered Long Term Care Facility, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will provide assessment, care planning, consultation, intervention, and follow-up services to residents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify residents' functional abilities and develop personalized care plans
- Collaborate with the team to implement interventions and provide ongoing support to residents
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research in occupational therapy
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia
- Proven experience working with seniors in a long-term care setting
- Current certifications in CPR and other relevant areas
- Knowledge of the Eden Alternative philosophy and its application in long-term care
