About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to own the execution and delivery of our data platform projects. These projects focus primarily on ingesting and curating data for analytical consumption. Our services stack will be primarily Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute flawlessly on all projects assigned to you.
- Keep up with technical knowledge and allied Microsoft Certifications.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of the entire data lifecycle – ingestion, engineering, and modeling.
- At least 35 years of demonstrable experience leading and executing analytics projects, preferably on the Microsoft platform.
- Comfortable interacting with customers – technical and non-technical personas.
- Bachelor degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or related field /or equivalent experience
Years of experience with SQL server and coding with T-SQL, data pipeline developing and maintaining a cloud data architecture in Azure Cloud, developing and maintaining data sets, working with cloud analytics platforms in MS Azure or AWS (Databricks, Synapse, etc), engineering scalable software using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc), and completing tasks related to the data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data using data pipelines in MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory.
