Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at C&G PAINTING & DECORATING. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile and stone surfaces in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as needed.
  • Set and align tiles, ensuring proper spacing and alignment.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Grout and seal tile joints to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Supervise and train apprentices as required.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties.
  • May be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical demands of the job include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
