About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team at PROGRESS SPORT INC. as a key member of our competitive programs team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement well-planned competitive schedules and programs to enhance athlete performance and team success.
  • Coordinate and manage competitive programs, including team travel and logistics.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to athletes and teams to improve their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop and implement training and practice sessions.
  • Conduct analysis and evaluation of athlete and team performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sports coaching to continuously improve coaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sports coaching, preferably in badminton.
  • Level 1 Certificate in Coaching or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
