CMiC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Middleware/DBA Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the deployment, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of databases within our Enterprise application.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of database administrators, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Database Administration: Oversee the administration of our Oracle databases, including deployment, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that best practices are followed and that technical processes are optimized.
- Problem-Solving: Research and resolve technical problems, analyze business requirements, and design technical processes to meet business needs.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation of implementation activities for management and team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical processes and deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or Math/Physics (Computer Science stream) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle DBA, systems analysis, programming, or a comparable role within a software company, with proven problem-solving skills.
- Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Oracle Application Weblogic Server 11g/12c, Oracle Identity 10g/11g/12c, Oracle Access Manager 12c, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Database 11g/12c/18c/19c, J2EE Programs, RAC, and DataGuard.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Office Products, and proficiency in MS SharePoint.
