Data Loss Prevention Engineer

Paymentus is seeking a highly skilled Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. As a DLP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring data loss prevention solutions to protect our sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to prevent data breaches.
  • Design and configure DLP systems to monitor and control data in-use, in-transit, and at-rest.
  • Perform data analysis and fingerprinting to identify sensitive information and develop policies to protect it.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure DLP policies meet compliance and security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DLP solutions implementation, performance, and availability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data loss prevention, security, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing DLP solutions for SaaS and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Basic understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
  • Experience with scripting and/or development tools used with application integration into identity and access management and SIEM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing DLP solutions for cloud email solutions such as GSuite or Office365.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
  • Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Current information security certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP.
