Job Overview

We are in search of a Senior .NET Solutions Architect. You are a dedicated technologist with a strong foundation in application design for client-server architectures and middleware. You enjoy working with the latest frameworks and take pride in delivering quality and agility. You are a pragmatic coder who values functionality over idealism. Reporting to the Senior Architect, you will collaborate with development teams to establish robust architecture, frameworks, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of the Senior Architect is to design and document intricate system enhancements for TechBlocks. This encompasses all facets of the system development life cycle. The individual must possess extensive design and development experience across various software and technologies.

  • The candidate should be capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and multitasking in a dynamic environment, while adapting swiftly to changes and managing multiple projects concurrently. Demonstrated leadership skills are essential, as you will guide small teams in design and development initiatives. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a must.

  • Facilitate complex design sessions, collaborating closely with clients and business partners to define requirements for developing tailored solutions.

  • Create proof of concepts to validate design ideas.

  • Design applications adhering to industry best practices and standards.

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse remote teams, including offshore resources, is essential.

  • Excellent client engagement and consultative skills are required.

  • Support the delivery of solutions by assisting programmers in their tasks.

  • Provide guidance on implementing unit testing, system testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing methodologies.

  • Understanding project management principles may involve defining software development plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.

  • Make critical decisions regarding the most suitable platforms for application development requests and ensure code quality assurance for the team.

  • Develop processes and procedures to streamline workflow, ensuring quality, precision, and timely outputs.

  • Manage multiple demands and competing priorities while ensuring deliverables are met.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a Technical/.NET Architect role.

  • Over 5 years of experience in architecting web and Windows-based applications.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in architecting cloud-based solutions on Azure or AWS.

  • More than 8 years of application development experience.

  • Required skills include: C#, Microsoft .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, TFS, WCF, Web API, Angular JS, SSIS/SSRS, TSQL, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, AWS Lambda, SQL Server 2008 and above.

  • Preferred skills: Node JS, mobile application development experience on Xamarin or Cordova, CMS: DNN or any other .NET-based CMS, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM 2011/2013.
