Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at SM WESTERN CONSTRUCTION INC. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling forms and scaffolding, and removing rubble and debris.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. Physical demands of the job include lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and working in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 to 35 hours per week
