The Community Oncology Nurse is responsible for delivering and coordinating care within the community oncology program across multiple facilities.
This program serves as a vital connection between designated Health Councils and the BC Cancer Agency, as well as the Communities Oncology Network.
The nurse operates under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing & Head Nurse for Critical Care. Flexibility is essential as this role requires travel between facilities on a weekly basis.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / Day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30
Compensation:
The hourly wage is set at $59.52.

Chemotherapy Certification:
BC Cancer Agency certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to inspire participation in a learning environment.
- Proficient in working independently, prioritizing tasks, and organizing effectively.
- Collaborative team player.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, healthcare providers, and patients.
- Willingness to travel between facilities as required.
