Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Bright Stars Daycare. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement child-care programs that meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Storytelling and encouraging children to express creativity through various media
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote child development
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Requirements:
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
