What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and support to our Investment Advisors.

You will be responsible for coordinating meetings, providing proactive client service, and responding to client inquiries. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

What will you do?

• Coordinate and prepare meetings for Investment Advisors with clients and prospects.

• Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments for execution, as needed.

• Respond to client inquiries, including account transactions, tax receipts, account reporting, and other requests.

• Assist with client onboarding and manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and internal partners.

• Maintain existing client accounts, identify opportunities to contact clients, and manage timelines and key dates for accounts.

• Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation, in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.

• Help update team communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), completed or working towards completion

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

• High level of time management and organization skills

• Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service, professional, warm, and friendly to our clients

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures

• Experience in the securities industry is an asset
