VitalAire Canada, a division of Air Liquide Home Healthcare, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Respiratory Therapist/RN to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing quality respiratory care services to our clients. Your primary duties will include initiating oxygen therapy, performing assessments, educating clients on equipment use and knowledge, and conducting follow-up services. You will also be responsible for conducting full respiratory assessments, evaluating test results, and developing treatment plans with clients, physicians, and care teams. Additionally, you will provide follow-up services to evaluate the effects of treatment plans, comfort clients, and address compliance. You will also identify safety concerns in clients' home environments and perform equipment quality control checks. Your role will also involve providing information and literature to prospective clients, demonstrating products and services, and maintaining knowledge of related education and best clinical practices. You will be responsible for complying with and maintaining knowledge of all funding processes and systems, ensuring quality documentation, and maintaining client confidentiality. You will also be required to initiate PAP therapy, provide patient education, and conduct other sleep-related duties. You will adhere to safety and infection control policies and protocols, and instruct, supervise, and evaluate new staff and students when required.
