About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Speedway Tire Sales & Services Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain general ledgers and financial statements, and prepare tax returns.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Work Environment

As an Accounting Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Dependability, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, and adaptability.
