VIP Food and Beverage Team Member

At VIP Cinemas, guests experience a premium entertainment atmosphere available exclusively in Canada at Cineplex Entertainment theatres. These venues feature specially designed auditoriums tailored for adult guests, in-seat menu service, a licensed lounge, and a dedicated box office. VIP auditoriums provide reserved seating, allowing guests to select their specific seats at the time of purchase. Each VIP auditorium also boasts full stadium seating, with larger, upgraded seats equipped with table tops in their armrests. Once seated, a team member will present the guest with a menu and take their order. Ordered items will be delivered directly to the guest at their seat. Guests can also enjoy a licensed lounge before and after their film.

Key Responsibilities of VIP Food and Beverage Team Members:

Our VIP Food and Beverage Team Members are responsible for welcoming and serving our guests while ensuring a clean and safe entertainment environment. Roles range from behind-the-scenes culinary positions to bartenders and front-of-house lounge servers.

We rely on our VIP Food and Beverage Team Members to guarantee that Cineplex Entertainment delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to every guest. The Cineplex atmosphere is lively, fast-paced, social, exciting, and positive.

Successful candidates will be dedicated to providing high-quality food service, maintaining the VIP experience, and fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. Throughout their shifts, they will be friendly and upbeat, taking pride in their organization, efficiency, and product knowledge. They will be passionate about delivering an outstanding experience and thrive in a dynamic setting.

We are currently seeking to fill the following roles:

  • Culinary Staff: This includes cooks and food preparation personnel who will serve food to guests in lounge and auditorium settings.
  • Service Staff: Responsible for serving and taking orders from guests in our licensed lounge, ensuring a comfortable experience before or after their film.
  • Bartenders: Creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their favorite beverages. Responsibilities include mixing, garnishing, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards, assisting guests in menu selection, taking orders, and ensuring guests feel well cared for during their visit. Maintaining a clean and stocked bar while providing attentive service is essential.

  • Team-oriented, energetic, friendly, and outgoing.
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, guest service environment.
  • Availability to work late on weekends and some late weeknights.
  • Excellent communication skills.
