About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned operations executive to lead our team at BC Transit. As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for delivering conventional, custom, and para-transit services to communities throughout BC, outside the Greater Vancouver region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Operations Division, applying strategic thinking and results-oriented leadership to achieve business plan objectives.
  • Provide leadership in resource management and mentoring, coaching, and developing a management team to deliver safe and reliable transit services.
  • Develop service standards according to customer needs and government policies, while working with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Represent the division and the province on various committees, task forces, and teams, providing input on program initiatives as required.
