We are seeking a highly skilled Case Specialist to join our team at IDC Worldsource Insurance Network Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Advisors, ensuring the efficient settlement of new business and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Processing New Insurance Business: Review and process life insurance applications, communicate with the Contracting and Compensation Administrator and/or other Case Specialists to ensure timely processing, work closely with each carrier to ensure timely approval and settlement of contracts, communicate relevant information or changes in status of pending business to producers, manage detailed information on WealthServ for efficient tracking and measurement of business and processing performance, assist Advisors in ordering medical requirements when required, assist in managing the new business email inbox on a rotation basis, and assist in managing the various carrier websites and updating client files.
  2. Processing In Force/Policy Service: Review and process In Force policy service requests, work closely with each carrier to ensure a timely decision/approval, communicate all updates from carriers to the Advisor, process "non underwriting" policy service requests, and field Advisor inquiries regarding policy service issues and adhere to the service level standards for each Advisor group.
  3. Other Responsibilities: Communicate with the Department Head regarding all internal and external issues, assist with other administrative tasks as needed, and assist in the handling of minimal incoming and outgoing mail for in-house advisors.
Requirements
  1. Post-secondary education;
  2. Completion of LOMA courses (i.e. FLMI, ACS) considered an asset;
  3. 3 years+ experience working in a customer service environment;
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows 10/11;
  5. Experience with WealthServ an asset;
  6. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and individually;
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills;
  8. Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy;
  9. Ability to multi-task and process in a timely manner and meet deadlines;
  10. Organized with the ability to prioritize workload;
  11. Strong problem-solving abilities;
  12. Bilingualism considered an asset.
