About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Sun Star Mechanical LTD. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Piping System Requirements: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with varying work settings, including various locations.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 30-40 hour workweek with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing is required.
