Job Title: Equipment Operator

Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as backhoes to assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and other areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist with de-icing and salting operations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Valid Backhoe Operator certification (asset).
  • Successful completion of training in traffic control methods, first aid, transportation of dangerous goods, WHMIS, and job-related aspects of Occupational Health.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industrial repair, maintenance, or landscaping (outdoor work).
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, wet and/or humid conditions, and occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
