Role Overview:
The Head of Quality Control will spearhead the formulation of strategies aimed at delivering superior product quality while ensuring operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing the Quality Control team in collaboration with operational units to maximize resource utilization, enhance product yield, and innovate offerings while minimizing excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Leadership:

  • Exemplify safety, leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Assist local Quality Control teams in adhering to safety protocols and legal requirements.
  • Formulate and implement the Quality Control Strategy for the region.
  • Prepare regular reports to monitor strategy execution and progress.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee the development of Quality Control and Process Control initiatives.
  • Ensure effective operational execution that aligns with strategic goals.
  • Support regional operations and marketing efforts for quality aggregates.
  • Guide the Quality Control teams in optimizing product offerings and resource management.

  • Encourage participation of Quality Control Managers in operational meetings.

Team Development:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in a quality control role within the construction sector.
  • At least five years of leadership experience in the aggregates industry.
