Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our environmental planning team, you will be responsible for leading the environmental aspects of our most complex proposals and projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental strategies for our projects
  • Collaborate with transportation planning, engineering, and other disciplines to ensure environmental compliance
  • Develop and maintain environmental management plans, permits, and approvals
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff on technical and professional issues
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with various levels of agency personnel
Qualifications:
  • 20 or more years of experience in progressively more complex environmental planning roles
  • Appropriate degrees in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Engineering
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365 products to perform assigned tasks
  • ESRI ArcGIS skills preferred but not required
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives

  • Base Compensation: $140,000 - $175,000
