Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our educational programs. As an Educational Program Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and staff to provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and ensure the smooth operation of our programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to teachers and staff, including maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
  • Assist with the coordination of educational programs, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.
  • Support the development and implementation of educational programs, including curriculum planning and resource management.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Related diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution, including a formal practicum placement.

Rate of Pay:

This is a 10-month position with a work schedule in accordance with the school year calendar. The starting annual salary for a 100% position is $35,817.70, including 4% vacation pay. Rates are based on a five-step scale with step increases occurring annually in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Daily Hours of Work:

50% Position = 3.5 hours (includes one 15-minute paid break)

80% Position = 6.1 hours (includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks)

100% Position = 7.5 hours (includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks)
