Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Heart to Heart Home Care Services Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including laundry, cleaning, and disinfection.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and position patients.
