Job Summary:

The Director, Distribution Strategy will lead the development and implementation of TD Asset Management's distribution strategy in Central Canada. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive growth and performance in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a distribution strategy to drive growth and performance in Central Canada
  • Lead a team of wholesalers to achieve sales targets and improve distribution effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and provide a seamless client experience
  • Stay current on markets, regulations, and industry changes to inform distribution strategy
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support distribution goals
  • Provide input on the development of annual sales targets, performance criteria, reward and recognition programs, compensation programs, and key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI)
  • 10+ years of industry sales experience
  • In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industry
  • Strong interest in capital markets, portfolio construction, and business development
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
