Job Summary:

Cloudeium is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead our software development teams in Norman, OK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Manage software development projects and teams to support customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans to define software solutions and platform requirements for current and future customer needs, aligning with Cloudeium's business objectives.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Ability to forecast budget requirements for software solutions and platform requirements, ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
  4. Resource Allocation: Plan and implement software projects, allocating resources to accomplish those projects, and ensuring effective team utilization.
  5. Tool Selection: Evaluate and select software development tools and platforms for development and production application environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  6. Methodology Implementation: Select, implement, and maintain development methodologies such as Agile and SDLC, and the associated frameworks, to ensure efficient and effective software development.
  7. Software Maintenance: Establish and maintain software maintenance processes as defined by the customer for production software applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable software.
  8. Hardware and Software Management: Manage and protect customer-owned hardware resources and software source code, ensuring secure and compliant software development.
  9. Data Ownership and Maintenance: Establish data ownership and data maintenance processes for custom applications, ensuring accurate and reliable data management.
  10. Team Guidance and Mentorship: Guide and mentor team leaders and members in programming techniques, development environments, and languages, such as PHP, Python, Ajax, Oracle APEX, and Java, to ensure skill development and knowledge sharing.
  11. Team Leadership: Perform managerial duties such as time-card review and approval, performance reports and ratings, and resolution of team disputes, ensuring effective team management and leadership.
  12. Customer Communication: Meet with customers to obtain requirements, prepare proposals, presentations, and project plans to support those requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.
  13. Quality System Administration: Review and administer quality system documents in support of ISO Quality and USPS best practice initiatives for IT infrastructure and software development, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: 5 - 6 yrs of experience, with extensive knowledge of IT system infrastructure, networking, and software development.
  3. Skills: Able to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations, and able to plan own work and use judgment within limits of standard practice.
  4. Leadership and Communication: Communication and leadership skills to hire, grow, and manage IT and software development professionals, ensuring effective team leadership and communication.
Desired Skills:
  1. Agile Experience: 3 years experience working with Agile Scrum Teams and the Agile as a lean process.
  2. Service Now Experience: Experience with the Service Now platform as a software solution.
  3. Capital Budgeting: Experience with capital budget forecasting of IT infrastructure.
  4. Technical Skills: Experience with RedHat Linux, SOLr search engine, Microsoft SQL, Apache and Oracle DB Servers.
