We are currently in search of a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will take charge of establishing and configuring a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, preferably utilizing Elastic Stack. This role is crucial for ensuring effective security monitoring and incident response capabilities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. SIEM Deployment and Configuration:
    Implement and set up the SIEM system to gather, analyze, and archive security event data from a variety of sources (such as network devices, servers, and applications). Ensure integration with existing IT infrastructure for comprehensive security coverage.
  2. Rule Development and Management:
    Create and execute SIEM rules and use cases to identify security threats, anomalies, and compliance breaches. Regularly assess and refine rules to reduce false positives and enhance threat detection accuracy.
  3. Monitoring and Incident Management:
    Establish dashboards and alerts for real-time security event monitoring. Collaborate with the security team to investigate and address security incidents flagged by the SIEM.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain thorough documentation for SIEM configurations, rules, and incident response protocols. Generate reports that provide insights into the organization's security posture and compliance status.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing SIEM solutions (e.g., Elastic Stack, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Azure Sentinel)
  2. In-depth understanding of security event data, threat detection, and incident response processes
  3. Proficient in creating and optimizing SIEM rules for effective security monitoring
  4. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
