As a Financial Analyst within our Advisory and Recovery Services division, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients across diverse sectors. Responsibilities in Financial Advisory

  • Assist in executing corporate finance projects, including researching and identifying new market opportunities and managing processes related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Develop cash flow projections, valuation models, and other analytical reports.
  • Aid in the preparation of formal valuation reports and memoranda that document valuation methodologies and conclusions.
  • Conduct market research to explore valuation techniques, industry trends, and relevant technical topics.
  • Acquire knowledge of applicable accounting standards related to various valuation matters.
  • Engage in business development activities and contribute to the creation and presentation of competitive proposals.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with the client engagement team.

Responsibilities in Corporate Recovery & Restructuring

  • Gather and analyze all necessary information related to mandates.
  • Support the creation of schedules, reports, cash flow statements, and other essential documentation.
  • Assist in compiling, reviewing, and analyzing data from creditors and government registries.
  • Address inquiries from creditors, interested parties, and other stakeholders.
  • Help manage the asset sale process and facilitate debt recovery efforts.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders both via phone and in-person as required.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance work processes.
  • Maintain flexibility for travel as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the engagement team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong writing and communication abilities.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset.
