Drywall Installer and Finisher Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at Leonardo Sales LPS Drywall. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall projects
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete drywall installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate drywall installations
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

Our team works in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and various locations. As a Drywall Installer and Finisher, you will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and in a physically demanding environment.
