As a key member of our Allied Health Services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting evidence-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans for patients with acute and medically complex nutrition needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status and provide personalized recommendations for nutrition therapy.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in acute care dietetics.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Human Nutrition or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a Dietetic Internship.
  • Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Dietitians.
  • Member of Dietitians of Canada.
  • Experience working in acute care settings, with a strong understanding of nutritional needs and status.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
