Position Overview:

As a QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT systems. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of software solutions that meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate new features and rectify defects.

- Provide accurate estimates for project planning, considering the resources and systems involved.

- Contribute to the overall testing strategy, addressing business challenges and system dependencies.

- Implement test plans as designed and ensure thorough documentation of all findings.

- Actively engage in regular team scrums to discuss progress and challenges.

- Communicate findings, issues, and analyses effectively with team members through appropriate channels.

- Adapt to evolving technologies, continuously learning and applying new methodologies to align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

- Ensure the quality and stability of IT systems by adhering to standard Product Life Cycle (PLC) practices.

- Collaborate with analysts and developers to troubleshoot issues and identify effective solutions.

- Work alongside QA analysts from various teams to coordinate testing and deployment efforts.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

- Proven experience in integration testing.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Knowledge of test automation tools and programming languages.

Highly Desirable:

- Understanding of Mendix.

- Proficiency in SQL and API testing.

- Experience within the financial services sector.

- Strong team collaboration skills.

- Accountability for assigned tasks, driving towards actionable solutions.

- Ability to thrive in an agile work environment.

- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, and independence.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- High level of collaboration with developers and business stakeholders.

Language Proficiency:

- Fluency in both French and English is required.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an agile setting with a focus on integration testing and Azure DevOps.

2. At least 2 years of experience in test automation using tools such as Ready API, SOAPUI, or Selenium.

3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in API testing.
