About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Reardon Construction & Development Ltd. As a journeyman carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including construction, renovation, and repair of buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: A certificate or diploma in carpentry or a related field is required.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the carpentry trade is preferred.
  • Work Setting: You will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, renovation projects, and commercial and residential buildings.
  • Security and Safety: You must be bondable and have a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Tools and Equipment: You must have your own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: You must have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.
