Position Overview
As a Welding Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure product compliance with ASTM, ASME, and ISO standards, including verification post-adjustments.
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections, holding a minimum qualification level of 2.
- Assess the compliance of subassemblies with both contractual and internal specifications.
- Document inspection findings and non-compliance instances through detailed reports.
- Utilize digital industrial tools to record inspection results accurately on-site.
- Engage in collaborative inspections alongside clients to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee daily quality management processes with production teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to Root Cause Analysis initiatives aimed at minimizing recurring defects.
- Execute inspections and quality controls in alignment with client procedures and welding specifications.
- Fulfill all responsibilities associated with the role of a Welding Quality Inspector.
Qualifications
- Possession of Level 2 certifications in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing): MT, PT, UT, RT, or VT.
- Strong understanding of ASTM, ASME, and ISO standards.
- Capability to make informed decisions regarding product acceptance or rejection based on established work instructions.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, particularly in Excel.
Additional Information
- Standard working hours, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Travel expenses covered for non-residents.
