NDT Supervisor

Scalian is seeking a highly skilled NDT Supervisor to join our team in La Pocatière, QC. As an NDT Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical compliance of NDT activities performed by internal inspectors and/or NDT Site Service Providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure technical compliance to internal and international standards of NDT activities
- Develop and implement NDT instructions for specific applications
- Cascade and implement standards of the Region at site level
- Support innovation by developing new NDT applications
- Provide guidance and mentoring to NDT site personnel
- Liaise with NDT local laboratories and authorities as needed
- Define NDT Inspector needs and ensure relevant trainings and qualifications
- Participate in the animation of the NDT Regional network
- Support root cause analysis and investigations related to NDT
- Supervise external inspectors team
- Engineer's degree in mechanics, electrics, or electronics
- Experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving tools
- Level 3 according to ISO 9712 or ASNT for various NDTs
- Welding engineer/welding technician (IWE/IWT)
- 10 years of experience in NDTs and 3 years of experience in management position
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Level 3 according to ISO 9712 or ASNT in leak testing
