We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare and Professional Banking Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare and professional customers, providing expert financial advice and guidance, and identifying opportunities to grow our business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned healthcare and professional customers, including their business needs, financial position, and market trends.
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to healthcare and professional customers, helping them to achieve their business goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with colleagues and partners to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible advice and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and business performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans, goals, and objectives, working closely with colleagues and partners to achieve our targets.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business law, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven expertise in the healthcare and professional segment, with a strong understanding of the market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Scotiabank's products and services, including our Small Business and Commercial Banking offerings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
