About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at 7 Star Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various machinery, including engine lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders, to precision-cut and fabricate cabinet components.
  • Use measuring tools, such as micrometers, callipers, and calibre, to ensure accurate dimensions and quality control.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling repetitive tasks and physically demanding work.
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
