Position Overview
Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled, highly organized, and self-motivated permanent full-time Nursing Unit Clerk.

In alignment with the established vision and values of the organization and operating under general supervision, the Nursing Unit Clerk undertakes a variety of administrative tasks pertinent to the functioning of a patient/resident care area. This includes serving as a communication liaison for the Unit by transcribing and processing physician orders, coordinating with other departments and healthcare facilities, scheduling patient/resident appointments, arranging diagnostic tests, and managing results. Additional responsibilities include welcoming and directing visitors, handling telephone inquiries, compiling and maintaining patient/resident records, and executing data entry tasks.
