Groupe Marcelle Inc., a prominent player in the Canadian cosmetics industry, is actively looking for a Production Maintenance Lead for a permanent full-time role. As an integral part of the Production team, the Production Maintenance Lead will be tasked with supervising the upkeep of manufacturing machinery, enhancing line efficiency, and ensuring a secure working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with supervisors and technicians to sustain plant machinery.
  • Organize assembly personnel to fulfill production timelines.
  • Perform instrument calibrations and routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and departmental capabilities.
  • Contribute to the innovation of new products.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a comparable position within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with cosmetics/pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience with packaging systems and utility services.
  • Proficient in making technical assessments, managing budgets, and fostering relationships.
